The Opportunity
The ERP / Accounting Associate is a key member of the finance team and plays an important role across day-to-day accounting, payroll, and systems support. This is a multifaceted position well suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and is eager to grow their skills within a stable and supportive environment.
In addition to core accounting and payroll responsibilities, this role will support the coordination and implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, offering hands-on exposure to systems improvement and process optimization. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance SupportManage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment posting, and collectionsPerform daily bank and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entriesMaintain accurate financial records and prepare internal accounting reportsProcess expense reports, petty cash, and respond to vendor and customer inquiriesProvide ad hoc financial and administrative support to the CFOERP & Systems SupportAssist with ERP data migration, cleansing, validation, and testingReview data synchronization and identify inconsistencies or errorsDocument processes, provide basic user support, and liaise with IT partners or external consultantsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the ERP environment
Payroll & Benefits AdministrationProcess bi-weekly and monthly payroll in compliance with federal and provincial regulationsMaintain payroll records, manage benefits administration, and prepare pay stubs and T4sReconcile payroll accounts, investigate discrepancies, and stay current on payroll legislation
Qualifications & Experience5-7+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance support role, including payroll processingExperience with accounting software; exposure to ERP systems or ERP implementations is a strong assetIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelSolid understanding of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and payroll legislationStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizationAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-first mindsetProactive, solutions-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and take initiativeHigh level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
