Job Description
Obtains and utilizes subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating functional/technical requirements for efforts that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole.
Demonstrates advanced communication skills, verbal and written. Leads pod throughout the Project Process, teaching agile process when needed. Facilitates meetings and discussions and assists in making recommendations on semi-complex to complex solutions. Superior organizational skills, communication, and documentation of feature requirements, decisions made and status of work. Has advanced experiences in the areas of software development, databases, e-commerce, customer service principles which help in understanding business requirements to be executed through technical solutions. Displays advanced interviewing, note taking, and analytical skills, can work independently, and lead others to arrive at needed requirements. Team oriented and demonstrates ability to lead and mentor other Business Analysts.
Key Accountabilities
+ Obtain and utilize subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating requirements for efforts that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole
+ Responsible for ushering a business idea from initial brainstorm to production, in the form of a feature or series of features.
+ Use a variety of tools and methods to communicate clearly with business partners, vendors, customers, developers, and design and technology staff to analyze and identify opportunities to enhance mobile and web applications
+ Lead discussion and help guide recommendations on complex solutions for the business need during idea generation, brainstorming sessions, and solutions oriented discussions.
+ Facilitate agile pod meetings and generate requirement documents, workflows, diagrams, and decisions/action items
+ Research solutions and assess current and future state for requirements gathering and story writing.
+ Clearly articulate status and decisions made as part of the agile development process
+ Delivery of story requirements: ability to articulate and write stories according to written and verbal standards
+ Display superior interviewing and analytical skills, can work independently, and help others to arrive at needed requirements.
+ Manage and coordinate project process with cross functional teams on complex projects to aid in the completion of feature development.
+ Understand intermediate concepts of coding, data architecture, e-commerce, customer service principles
+ Mentor team members on solutions and database architecture, story writing and delivery standards.
+ Assist Software Delivery leadership with establishing Standards Documentation
+ Lead team to follow our Project Process
+ Responsible for gathering business ideas from initial brainstorm and getting into production; in the form of an Agile story, creating mock-ups, prototypes, ad-hoc SQL queries, and other artifacts.
+ Leads reoccurring meetings with various business areas to gather business data requirements and needs
+ Proactively collaborating with stakeholders in all levels of the business
+ Assist with BA Reviews to maintain story quality.
+ Assist in training/upskilling junior analysts.
+ Ability to Project Management work across teams independently
+ Understanding of pods velocity and able to predict project completion
Job Requirements
+ 3 years of JDEdwards or similar ERP Experience as analyst supporting customers and customer requested solutions
+ Strong understanding of warehouse processes and ERP database structures to record warehouse flows and ERP software architecture to update and report on these flows.
+ Knowledge and detailed understanding of ERP purchasing order flows, sales order flows and advanced pricing configuration
+ European-wide travel will be required, max. 2 -3 weeks total per year
+ Additional European languages are a bonus, but not essential
+ Strong knowledge and use of SQL for data analysis and Intermediate knowledge of SQL updates and best practices
+ Strong report writing knowledge
+ Experience using Jira Service Management and other Atlassian tools
+ Knowledge of additional ancillary software in one or more of the following is a plus

This role can be based in one of the following locations:

European travel will be required (approx. 2–3 weeks per year).
