Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site in our Grand Rapids, MI facility. The company has designated this role as safety sensitive.
What you will do:
Manage and maintain ERP system planning parameters, ensuring data accuracy and system health.Support production scheduling team by creating tools for order scheduling, work order sequencing, mass schedule updates, and work order BOM management.Actively participate on cross-functional teams to support improvement of material flow and productivity in the production and materials management processes.Create and run daily reports to track changes in inventory, sales data, and other areas to identify potential disruptions in material and information flow.Support Inventory Management team in identifying and resolving accuracy issues.Update, revise, and enforce standard work instructions and operation manuals for the department, including ISO work instructions where appropriate.Continuously develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures.Lead a team of material handlers and inventory control.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.2+ years in a manufacturing/distribution environment.Leadership experience preferredStrong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel) and ability to use plant IT programs. Oracle R12 experience preferred.Demonstrated root cause analysis skills required.Understanding of Kanban and JIT systems.Experience operating warehouse equipment.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000
