Erlanger MRO Spares Leader
**Job Description Summary** The Erlanger MRO Spares Leader owns the spare parts value stream from the point material arrives at the Erlanger facility until it departs the facility. This role communicates with internal customers, creates work assignments, and coordinates the flow of material through the Erlanger Distribution Center. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Responsible for ensuring output of orders to meet daily CSL targets. + Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials through Erlanger. + Schedule production needs and assign work to material handlers across all shifts. + Partner with Supervisors to ensure targets are met + Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. + The spares leader is the primary internal customer interface for the MRO team and the Customer Material Solutions teams + Daily communication with MRO team and the Customer Material Solutions teams + Develop technical expertise on use of Warehouse Management System, and associated systems. + Understand truck routes and logistics for inbound material and customer requests. + Ownership of daily KPIs: Safety Concerns, CSL & MRO Delinquent Orders + Identifying waste in the current state and using FLIGHT DECK tools to drive improvements + Participation in and/or lead shop improvement projects/events + Utilize data analytics tools to forecast demand, monitor inventory performance, and identify improvement opportunities. + Participates and/or leads daily and weekly operating meetings and rhythms ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) priorities. + Maintaining interpersonal relationships with Union team members **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment) + A minimum of 3 years in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment **Desired Characteristics** + Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​ + Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively​ + Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​ + Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​ + Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker + Strong oral and written communication skills + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems + Experience leading continuous improvement efforts + Ability to execute on priorities with minimal guidance GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
