Job Summary and Responsibilities

Do you thrive in high-energy environments, possess a calm demeanor under pressure, and have a passion for making a direct impact on patient care during critical moments? Glendale Memorial Hospital & Health is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our Emergency Department as an ER Tech!

Responsibilities:

You'll be instrumental in assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions and meticulous handling of patient valuables – every detail matters.Under the guidance of our licensed nurses, you'll provide hands-on patient care, from taking vital signs and assisting with ambulation, to helping with activities of daily living and performing routine treatment procedures. Your keen observations will be critical!You'll accurately document all patient care measures, adhering to our hospital's high standards, policies, and procedures, providing clear records that underpin effective care.

This position is represented by CHEU and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.


Job Requirements
High School / GED required.EMT Certificate required.American Heart Association (AHA BLS) required. 


Preferred

1 yr of acute care experience in a similar emergency room.Where You'll Work
