Job responsibilities

Serve as an industry expert and thought leader on the SMid Biotech sector, leading coverage of stocks and providing education during company vettingsEngage with institutional investor clients and internal partners, including salespeople and traders, to share investment recommendations and insightsBuild and sustain management and industry relationships, facilitating corporate access through conferences, events, and non-deal roadshowsAssist Capital Markets to support investor education and due diligence during equity offeringsBuild and maintain Excel-based models to forecast company financials and project industry dynamicsPerform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendationsWrite research notes on covered companies, sector reports, and prepare presentationsCollaborate effectively across Global Research and develop a team of supporting analystsEmbrace technology to drive innovation and efficiency

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3-5+ years covering Biotechnology or closely related industriesExperience evaluating private companies and IPO processesEstablished client and corporate relationshipsStrong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business communication skills, including modeling, forecasting, and valuation experienceHigh level of organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proven ability to manage a team efficientlyFINRA licenses SIE, Series 63, Series 86, Series 87 and/or CFA
