In this role, you will:
Primary responsibilities include conducting the fundamental equity research process for the purpose of providing differentiated industry and stock-specific content, including building and maintaining financial forecasts and stock recommendations for our institutional investor client base. Critical to the role will be communicating research findings to both internal stakeholders and our institutional investor client base via consistent dialogue. The Associate will build strong relationships not only with Equity Research colleagues, but also with Equity Sales, Cash Trading, Derivatives, Wealth Management, and others.
The Associate will:
Demonstrate subject matter knowledge within the Media and Cable sector and a strong understanding of the companies within the sectorConduct rigorous analysis of financial statements and industry, company, and market data setsCreate and update financial models and databasesAuthor, with Senior Analyst, differentiated research content on companies and industry themesAttend company and industry events; cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contactsCommunicate research conclusions to internal and external constituentsCollaborate with research peers to support the generation of cross-sector research contentStrong, clear and concise written and oral communication skillsExercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
