We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Equity Derivatives Quant Developer
Principal responsibilities
Collaborate with model quants and other quant developers in the EQD team to develop, maintain and support the C and Python ecosystem of pricing and analytic libraries and the supporting infrastructure.Partner with the equity derivatives front office, other quants, structuring and IT teams to migrate existing and develop new pricing, marking, and trading tools for the strategic python librarySupport the SDLC automation and self-service tooling to enable application owners to on-board and release their applications with minimal overheads, including integration with CI/CD, unit and regression testing, and build tools. Develop and maintain Jupyter notebook services for a controlled environment to manage and run notebooks Package re-usable Equities Python libraries as components to be consumed across multiple applications Ensure compliance with HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit actions and addressing issues raised by external regulatorsSome careers have more impact than others.

Strong quantitative aptitude and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of more exotic Equity derivative products, risk measures like market risk greeks, etc.Within HSBC certain roles are designated as Enhanced Vetting Roles.
