Job Description
The Equipment Technician will play a crucial role in supporting all equipment within the facility, including pumps, vessels, vacuum dryers, and a variety of automated equipment. This position requires strong expertise in HMI and PLC systems. The technician will be involved in both preventative maintenance and new projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all equipment.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain facility equipment including pumps, vessels, and vacuum dryers.Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automated equipment.Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and support new projects.Work with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.Essential SkillsStrong troubleshooting skills.Experience with electrical systems.Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques.Knowledge of pneumatics and repair procedures.Expertise in pharmaceutical equipment maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in engineering.Minimum of 3 years experience in equipment troubleshooting.At least 3 years experience in preventative maintenance.Experience in a regulated industry for over 3 years.Proficiency with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment for 3+ years.Work Environment
This position operates during 2nd shift hours, from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday. It offers a shift differential of $1.30/hr. The work involves handling APIs like Pancreatin and Heparin, used in pharmaceutical applications. Located near Madison, Wisconsin, the facility is a leader in biosourced pharmaceuticals with a focus on innovative biopharmaceutical products and services.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
