**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** The Mechanic is responsible for managing fleet, 2-cycle, and small equipment. **Duties and Responsibilities** + In-House Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on 2-cycle handheld equipment, commercial mowers, and utility vehicles. + Blade Care & Tool Maintenance: Sharpen, grind, balance, and replace lawn mower blades and hedge trimmer blades. + Trailer & Basic Electrical: Perform basic 12V trailer wiring fixes, light replacements, and tire pressure checks. + Vendor & Mobile Service Scheduling: Serve as the primary branch point of contact to schedule and coordinate on-site vendor services. **Education and Experience:** + Willing to Train + Experience preferred with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair + Small engine and 2-cycle experience preferred + Organizational skills, ability to operate a phone and computer + Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds + Repetitive movement: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping **Work Environment:** + Noise level in work environment is usually moderate + Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including sun, rain, cold **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
