Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Equipment Sales & Service Manager role available on-site in Romulus, MI!

This position is responsible for going on sales calls, doing hands-on demonstrations and coordinating troubleshooting & repairing of mechanical and electrical systems on commercial floor machines, sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, etc.

Responsibilities

You will:

Manage the service technician team and service department.Responsible for going on sales calls with sales representativesDoing hands-on demonstrations of electrical systems on commercial floor machines, sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, etc.Be responsible for P&L of department.Set up and maintain equipment PM schedule; Must also complete and electronically file all PM and work order paperwork.Maintain up-to-date records of services performed; Log all completed service orders and then submit them for billing.Maintain strong relationships with customers, equipment manufacturers and parts suppliers.Oversee the Maintenance Service department, copy and send manuals to customers when requested. Qualifications

You have:

2 + years of experience as an Equipment Service ManagerAbility to manage and lead a Service Equipment teamExperience going on Sales calls with Sales RepresentativesExperienced with hands-on demonstrations and coordinating troubleshooting & repairing of mechanical and electrical systems on commercial floor machines, sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, etc.High School Diploma / GED / Technical Program CertificateAbility to read and comprehend complex instructions.Proven ability to effectively establish priorities and develop objectives, goals, and action plans to meet or exceed customer expectations within a fast-paced environment.
