We’re seeking a skilled and dependable **Equipment Operator** to join our team at our **Albuquerque recycling plant** . If you have experience operating heavy machinery and are passionate about sustainability, we’d love to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a **Forklift** as your primary equipment. + Occasionally operate a **Front-End Loader** , **baler** , and other machinery including trucks and smaller equipment. + Support daily operations to ensure efficient recycling processes. **Schedule:** + **Four 12 hour shifts per week.** + Workdays: **Monday–Friday** , with **one weekday off** , **Sunday off** , and a **rotating Saturday** . + **Start time:** 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM **Compensation:** + **$17.00–$20.00/hour** , depending on experience (DOE) + **$10,000 Stay-On Bonus** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:** + Pushing recyclables onto an incline belt + Loading recycle materials in a hopper + Loading, dump trucks, open top trailers, pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble + Responsible for equipment inspection + Assisting customers and employees as needed. **MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:** + Proven experience in operating Forklifts and Balers + Ability to beself-directedas well as work in a team environment + Ability to work in all weather conditions + Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.careers.wasteconnections.com .
