Position Overview:
Marin Country Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator to join our Agronomy team. This position is responsible for operating specialized turf equipment and helping maintain exceptional playing conditions consistent with the expectations of a private golf club.

Working alongside the rest of the Agronomy team, this individual will be exposed to all aspects of maintaining the golf course and property grounds to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for all members and guests who visit the club.

Pay: $22 - $24

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Operate golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers for greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Perform precision mowing, trimming, and detailed turf work
• Assist with daily course setup and presentation
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow established mowing patterns, heights of cut, and agronomic practices
• Assist with irrigation adjustments and hand-watering as needed
• Work efficiently and safely while maintaining awareness of members and play
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and appearance

Qualifications:
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
• Prior experience operating golf course maintenance equipment preferred but not required
• Knowledge of mowing practices and turf care standards
• Professional demeanor and respect for member privacy
• Team oriented attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50lbs and walk/stand for extended periods of time
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail is a must
• Availability to work early mornings
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license preferred
