Purpose: Primary responsibility will be operating an excavator for the solidification pit.

 

Essential Duties:

Primary responsibility will be operating an excavator for the solidification pit. Communicate with the shredder operator who will be filling the pit with liquid and debris. This role mixes in absorbents to soak up the water, then load the solidified material into a roll off dumpster. Operates a skid steer and loader as needed to support other plant operations. Responsible for daily pre checks and greasing of equipment. Work together with plant staff to ensure safe and efficient solidification.

Education & Essential Qualifications:

Experienced in heavy equipment operation and running an excavator Must be comfortable working in confined quarters

Personal Protective Equipment:
• Steel toe boots, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, Respirator Requirements: All applicants must pass the company paid physical exam including substance abuse screening.
