Position SummaryResponsible for operating a variety of off-road trucks and equipment utilized in aggregates/mining sites. RequirementsPerform daily inspections of the vehicleObserve visual and auditory signals during vehicle operationPerform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor, clean equipmentExcellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Minimum Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMinimum 1-year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities. Physical Requirements and ConditionsAbility to work outdoors in varied weather conditionsAbility to lift 75 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling machinery.Working ConditionsThe job will require operating large equipment which is typically air conditioned. There will be times when outside assignments may require periods of work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, wet, or dry. May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc.
