To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located at the Guadalajara Norte site.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of machinery and automated equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, installation validations, and technician development, ensuring operational continuity.

What a typical day looks like:

• Identify machinery failures using troubleshooting techniques, isolate the failure mechanism, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Execute repairs efficiently and cost-effectively, coordinating external support when necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established intervals and schedules.
• Analyze and implement corrective action reports and process monitoring mechanisms, applying basic problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Collaborate with engineers in the development of plans and procedures for testing, calibration, repair, and evaluation, ensuring the accuracy of instruments and equipment.
• Prepare reports on indicators such as yield, implemented solutions, and proposals to prevent failures, presenting corrective actions to the client and ensuring they do not recur.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Completed Engineering or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in the electronics sector.
• Knowledge in programming and handling Siplace Pro.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of machines X4s, X4iS, TX, SX (desirable).
• Basic knowledge of networks (desirable).
• Intermediate-advanced English.
• Proactive and results-oriented profile.
• Knowledge of yield, LU, and engineering change management.
