We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equipment & Fleet Supervisor to join our facility management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operation of our diverse range of equipment and fleet assets, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety within our facilities. This position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, engineering qualifications, and comprehensive equipment knowledge. You must effectively manage equipment maintenance schedules, adhere to safety procedures, and respond to breakdowns swiftly and efficiently. You will play a vital part in maintaining our operational excellence and contributing to our company's success in facility management.
Your roleOversee and manage the maintenance and operation of company equipment and fleet within a facility management context.Ensure all equipment is utilized to its maximum potential while adhering to safety standards and engineering protocols.Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime effectively.Collaborate with the operations team to manage equipment scheduling and resolve any operational issues promptly.Lead and conduct Health & Safety inductions, Toolbox Talks, and training on Equipment Safety & Operation Procedures, emphasizing leadership in safety protocols.Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs in the equipment management system, demonstrating strong equipment knowledge.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards regarding equipment use and maintenance, with a focus on safety procedures.About youDiploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a focus on facility management.In-depth knowledge of landscape, construction, and facility management machinery and equipment, specifically within the context of facility management.Strong proficiency in MS Office and equipment management systems, with a focus on CAFM or other computerized maintenance management systems.Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations vital in facility management operations.Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle equipment scheduling and breakdown issues effectively.Demonstrated leadership skills to oversee facility management operations efficiently.Possess a valid driver’s license.Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a closely related field.Rewards & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
