What you will do:
Trane in Carrollton is hiring for a Field Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting contractors in the field for equipment projects.
Assignments to specific strategic projects to work with sales and equipment fulfillment to understand full scope of the project.Meet with customers on site or at their office to review project specificsSet specific expectations and schedule with the customer on “on-site/field” visits/supervision to ensure a smooth projectWork with equipment fulfillment or other factory contacts to resolve warranty issues for quick resolutionWork with our service department to set up startup/warranty visits to resolve issues Assist customer with warranty/installation issues or questionsFollow establish standard work and processes, for proper job close out.This individual would be required to travel throughout the area.
What you will bring:
Minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred. Strong, demonstrated customer service and problem solving skills.Strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team. Construction law and regulation knowledge is an asset.Proven experience prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment with attention to detail.Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required. Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:Must be able to operate a vehicle using a seat belt safely and legally.Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties.Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction.Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands. Must be able to reach your hands over your head.Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours.This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.Must be able to safely use a ladder with a 350 lb. total weight limit, while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less.Must be able to maneuver confined access areas, as small as 30” vertical x 45” horizontal.Must be able to comfortably and routinely access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, and occasionally, up to 50 feet +This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location.Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000, plus incentive
Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
