Essential Responsibilities:
Forward planning to ensure the timely and most economical deployment of Equipment as well as monitor utilization and manage deployment, including suspension and timely off hiring of under-utilized itemsMonitor and report damage and abuse of Company/ Externally Hired EquipmentLiaise with Mechanics and record scheduled, regular maintenance and keep track of breakdowns and mechanical failures and record repairs as well as ensure all checklists are completedMaintain effective reporting lines to management including equipment forecast information to the Finance TeamEnsure all service, maintenance and inspection records are kept up to dateLiaise between 3rd Parties and Field Operations for planning equipment movementsUpdate and maintain a variety of reports and tracking spreadsheets including updating certifications and compliance and maintaining equipment filesMay perform other duties as requiredQualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industryKnowledge of Ontario transport regulations and maintenance processes and procedures as well as working knowledge / experience with heavy equipmentStrong computer skills, including MS Excel, and ability to quickly learn new softwareAbility to learn and understand software programs and new systemsExcellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skillsWork Conditions:
This is a hybrid position where you are expected to be in-office three days per weekCompensation
$50,400.00 - $69,300.00This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
