In this role, you’ll be the expert who keeps our critical equipment accurate, reliable, and fully compliant ensuring we maintain the highest standards of product quality and patient safety. If you thrive in a regulated environment, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want your work to have real impact, this is where you’ll make a difference. **As a Calibration Technician, you will:** + Perform precise, timely internal calibrations to keep critical systems performing at their best. + Organise and support external calibration activities both on‑site and off‑site. + Maintain a clean, compliant, well‑organised Calibration Laboratory that aligns with HSE and GMP expectations. + Ensure full traceability by updating calibration databases, records, and certificates with exceptional accuracy. + Partner with internal teams and external vendors to schedule services, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe equipment use. + Respond quickly to operational needs by coordinating ad‑hoc calibrations for breakdowns, investigations, and new equipment. + Contribute to audit preparation, raise non‑conformances when needed, and provide technical insights to support root‑cause investigations. + Maintain equipment readiness by managing spare inventory and ensuring work orders are completed correctly in Maximo. + Identify opportunities to enhance calibration processes, workflows, and equipment management systems. **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Experience in calibration, instrumentation, metrology, or a similar technical field. + Strong working knowledge of calibration tools, gauging equipment, and CMMS systems (ideally Maximo). + Experience in a GMP‑regulated environment with a solid understanding of regulatory and quality standards. + Outstanding attention to detail and strong organisational skills. + Experience supporting audits and preparing detailed technical documentation. + A proactive, flexible, and safety‑focused approach to work.
