**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Material Science, or equivalent practical experience
+ 8 years of experience in an epitaxial growth manufacturing environment.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
+ Experience establishing manufacturing assembly processes, leading product launches and optimizing assembly operations.
+ Experience performing material characterization using optical and structural analysis techniques.
+ Knowledge of semiconductor materials in optoelectronic applications.
+ Understanding of Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) for process control and capability enhancement.

As part of Epitaxy Manufacturing Engineer team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing epitaxy growth processes to enable high-volume microLED production. You will troubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement yield improvements and collaborate with engineering teams to scale production processes while maintaining quality standards.
Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities:**
+ Lead data collection for critical technical issues while optimizing production epitaxy processes at volume scale.
+ Design, optimize and qualify manufacturing processes for components and products through systematic engineering approaches.
+ Develop and implement advanced systems and methodologies in collaboration with epitaxy engineering to enhance process stability, yield improvement and tool qualification for capacity expansion.
+ Drive production efficiency by partnering with operations team to optimize cycle times and process stability.
+ Enhance Statistical Process Control (SPC) oversight by collaborating with software, epitaxy operations and epi engineering teams to scale innovative epitaxy processes in an integrated environment.
