As part of the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), the Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the core of American Expressniquely positioned to support every business unit and customer across the Enterprise. The American Express Network enables over $1.6 trillion in annual spend, serving our Issuers and Acquirers in more than 170 markets worldwide. We are driving a strategic, multi-year Enterprise Payments program to bring all payments together into a center of excellence to drive operational excellence for payment execution, enable innovative payment products, services, and capabilities to be built effectively and efficiently, support our BU strategies more closely, and deliver on our customers’ evolving payment needs.
The Enterprise Payments team within NAS works to deliver scalable, robust, and innovative payment and verification solutions. These solutions support Paying with your Bank, managing supplier and buyer-initiated payments, supporting merchant and banking payments, and even Paying Amex or Amex paying our merchants / bank partners.
How will you make an impact in this role?
As an Envisioning Manager, you will work hands-on with Product, Business Architecture, Engineering and key stakeholders to turn strategy into delivery-ready requirements. You’ll scope initiatives, capture and refine business requirements, and produce artefacts that ensure Product Development can mobilize with clarity and confidence.
Key Responsibility
Collaborate with business partners to define scope and value.Deliver solutions with business and technology partners.Communicate requirements and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.Support transformational initiatives by delivering high-quality artefacts and discovery inputs.Work closely with Senior Envisioning Managers to ensure alignment and consistency across initiatives.Support handover to Product Development, ensuring requirements are clear, signed off, and ready for mobilization.Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience in business analysis, product discovery, or business transformation.Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into capability and technical requirements.Experience working in cross-functional, global teams.
