Environmental Test Technician
Job Title: Environmental Test TechnicianJob Description Join a dynamic team at the forefront of space manufacturing technology. As an Environmental Test Technician, you will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions that will advance the future of space exploration and industry. Responsibilities + Conduct TVAC testing to simulate the thermal and vacuum conditions of space. + Perform environmental testing, including temperature, humidity, and altitude tests. + Execute vibration and shock testing to assess the durability of components under launch and operational conditions. + Set up and operate test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, and shock machines. + Monitor and record test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness. + Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports. + Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. + Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Essential Skills + Experience with TVAC chambers, vibration tables, and shock testing equipment. + Proficiency in environmental testing techniques. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. + Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental testing, preferably in the aerospace industry. + Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software is a plus. Work Environment The role requires working in a lab/cleanroom environment, utilizing advanced test equipment such as thermal chambers and vibration tables. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
