Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Technician to join our team in Hatfield, PA. This position is for the 2nd shift, with working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Friday. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience within the environmental industry.
Responsibilities
Transport labelled drums of waste safely and efficiently.Detect and identify substances in drums and ensure proper labeling.Load and offload drums onto trucks with precision and care.Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and organize them in the warehouse.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Chemistry, or one year of experience in a related industry.Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.Experience in environmental science, general labor, and soil sampling.Work Environment
This role requires working both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions. You will need to have the ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the workday and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods. The work environment includes non-climate-controlled conditions, and safety protocols are strictly followed to ensure your protection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
