Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic Environmental Technicians for a contract role involving field data collection and documentation of water piping across various locations. This role includes working collaboratively with a team member to capture images and document the types of water piping used. Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with different pipe types and materials. You will be responsible for entering all gathered information into the GIS system at each site.
ResponsibilitiesCollect and document data on water piping at various field locations.Work collaboratively with a team member to gather accurate information.Capture photographs and document the types of piping used.Receive training on identifying different pipe types and materials.Enter collected data into the GIS system efficiently.Essential SkillsKnowledge in environmental science and fieldwork.0-1 years of experience as an Environmental Field Technician.0-1 years of experience in data collection.Proficiency in GIS data entry.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny previous experience working with GIS systems.Experience in field data collection is preferred.Work Environment
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the day. You will be paired with another team member to ensure accurate data collection. Dress appropriately for fieldwork and be prepared to adapt to changing environments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
