**Description** **_Responsibilities:_** + Reports to Environmental Manager. + Lead person for energy and water conservation programs. + Implementation and management of Energy Management System ( _EnMS_ ). + Supervision of environmental technician, cross-functional groups and facility sustainability programs. + Ensure compliant operation of rendering and other facility air treatment systems. + Environmental training responsibility for the facility. + Storm Water Pollution Prevention Team Leader. + Required facility environmental inspections. + Waste Management – recycling, solid waste, biosolids, used oil, universal waste and hazardous waste. + Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks ( _forklift, pallet Jack, Loader, etc_ .) as needed. Company will train. + Environmental reporting. + Participation in company safety programs and expectations. + Participation in company food safety programs and expectations. + Availability after-hours and weekends: 24-hour/5-6 day operation. **_Experience:_** + Degree in Environmental Science or related field or equivalent experience. + Knowledge and/or experience with Packed-Bed Scrubbers. + Previous supervisory experience or program. + State wastewater operator license(s) or ability to obtain license within 8 months of hiring. **_General Skills:_** 1.
