Summary: Seeking an Environmental Specialist to enhance compliance programs in a metal finishing and coating facility, focusing on wastewater treatment, air emissions, hazardous waste, and chemical management.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance within plating, chemical, or manufacturing environments Knowledge of EPA, RCRA, and Clean Water Act requirementsPreferred Skills:
Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100D, NADCAP) Ability to interpret lab results and environmental regulationsResponsibilities:
Monitor and maintain compliance with environmental permits Conduct routine sampling and analysis of wastewater Operate wastewater treatment systems Submit required environmental reports Coordinate hazardous waste disposal Inspect containment areas and emergency equipment Support process improvement initiatives for waste reductionPay Details: $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
