Environmental Specialist

Job Title: Environmental Specialist – Infrastructure Projects

About the Role:

We’re seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our team and support major infrastructure projects across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

Support environmental planning, permitting, and construction oversight for large infrastructure projects.Help solve engineering challenges while promoting long-term environmental sustainability.Review designs, assess environmental risks, and prepare reports and planning documents.Conduct site inspections and investigations as needed.Draft technical specifications and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.Research nature-based design options and collaborate with design teams to reduce environmental impact.Lead meetings and report findings to clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

Hold Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or natural sciences0 to 4 years of experience in environmental planning and environmental regulatory analysis or correspondence0 to 4 years of experience in utility operations or land use managementExperience with environmental permitting, monitoring, and sustainability principles (e.g., ISI Envision); knowledge of municipal/state sustainability standards is a plusFamiliar with interpreting engineering drawings, environmental assessments, and regulatory documents.

Work Environment:

Hybrid office environment with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Work closely with a team of environmental scientists, specialists, and sustainability professionals on infrastructure projects across North America. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $55.00/hr.
