Job Title: Environmental Specialist
Job Description

As an Environmental Specialist, you will play a crucial role in conducting construction site inspections, writing reports, performing Phase I investigations, and collecting samples for laboratory submission. Your work will involve commercial, industrial, and storm-impacted structures, ensuring environmental compliance and safety.

ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections and compile comprehensive reports.Perform Phase I environmental investigations and sample collection.Oversee and operate project sites, manage time effectively, and maintain client relations.Apply company policies and procedures to ensure project profitability.Report any project challenges to the Project Manager or immediate supervisor.Identify potential business leads and communicate them to the Business Development Manager.Essential SkillsExperience in environmental remediation and fieldwork.Knowledge of general labor, cleaning, and construction processes.Familiarity with environmental science and decontamination practices.Possession of Hazwoper and OSHA 40 certifications.Proficiency in soil sampling techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.Strong typing skills for report writing and data entry.Ability to write and produce comprehensive reports.Physical capability to carry equipment and climb ladders/scaffolding.Ability to pass a pulmonary function test for occasional respirator use.Work Environment

This role requires presence at the office or project site from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The candidate must be on call for all other hours when on a project site. A minimum of 40 hours per week is expected, with flexibility for additional hours based on project needs. The position offers tremendous growth and project management opportunities.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
