Job Summary and Responsibilities
The incumbent performs cleaning, sanitation and other environmental services and support duties involved in hospital maintenance. May access medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.
Job Requirements
Basic housekeeping practices and procedures, Proper handling/disposal of infectious waste, Proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals and equipment, Basic floor care practicesKnowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, infectious waste, floor and carpet care including knowledge of aseptic procedures, detergent/germicide solution and proper use and cleaning of equipment, proper use of safety standards and procedures in housekeeping skills.High school diploma or equivalent.Where You'll Work
