Position Details

Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark CampusSchedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation
Flexibility for off-hours as needed

What You’ll DoLead and support Environmental Services staff to ensure a clean and safe hospital environmentOversee daily operations, scheduling, and assignmentsTrain, coach, and evaluate team performanceEnsure compliance with safety and sanitation standardsFoster a culture of pride, service, and excellenceCollaborate with hospital departments and support accreditation efforts

What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate or college degree a plus) required2–5 years of experience in environmental services requiredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to motivate teams and uphold high standardsKnowledge of safety protocols and hospital procedures

Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsLift and pull objects up to 40+ lbsWork in hospital environments with appropriate safety precautions

Hourly Pay Range: $22.29 - $33.44

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
