As the Environmental Services Guest Services Navigator, you will perform rounds on assigned units, addressing patient needs and concerns as needed. You will address issues promptly by collaborating with staff and utilizing all available support to both prevent further complaints and drive improvements. Exhibiting a high level of customer service, you can also assist patients, families, guests and visitors with finding local destinations, such as restaurants, shopping centers or exciting outing opportunities. This role offers an excellent way to expand your communication and management skills, all while making a direct positive influence in the Cleveland Clinic experience. 

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

Meet and greet patients and visitors. Perform daily visitation/interviewing of patients on assigned units with regard to EVS services. Act as an information resource for patients and families. Provide some concierge services to assist patients and guests with accessing information, driving directions, restaurants, shopping and amenities within the Cleveland Clinic and local community. Assist with the quality control of the department cleaning process through the use of fluorescent marking program. Assist in maintaining safety needs of patients. Corrects and/or reports safety, cleaning or maintenance needs. Resolve EVS service issues and investigate complaints/concerns with the HEART model. Consult patients, family members and caregivers regarding resolving complaints/concerns. Participate in best practice initiatives, offer suggestions and support EVS management staff in satisfaction initiatives.  Coordinate patient needs with other departments. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

High School Diploma/GED
