As an Environmental Services Floor Technician, you will help create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. This role is a great steppingstone to other careers within Environmental Services and departments within Cleveland Clinic. **A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.** **with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Create a sanitary, safe environment and enhance the appearance of the facility. + Clean assigned areas daily. + Maintain hard floor surfaces by stripping, refinishing, mopping, buffing and auto-scrubbing. + Maintain carpets with shampoo, extraction, gum removal and daily maintenance. + Complete waste stream removal, general waste, recycling, infectious waste, etc. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma/General Education Development (GED) **Physical Requirements:** + Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting, and reaching. + Requires continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. + Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals. + Light work - Exerting 11 to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required, **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $16.50 Maximum hourly: $20.25 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
