Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team. The Environmental Services Associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our healthcare facility, which is essential to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained. 

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas of the facilityFollow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and proceduresCollect and dispose of biohazardous waste and linensStock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and common areasRespond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staffYou may operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment.
Job Requirements
High School GED - General StudiesPrevious hospital or other institutional environmental service experience preferredAbility to operate necessary equipment/machines. Ability to communicate effectively with the public (employees, vendors, patients, volunteers, physicians, etc.) and with peers.

This position is represented by CHEU and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
