**Overview** Kimley-Horn's Dallas, Texas (TX) office is seeking an Environmental Scientist with 3+ years of experience to join their Environmental team! This is not a remote position. + This is an exciting opportunity to work with ateam on a variety ofmultidisciplinaryprojects (commercial development, renewable energy, power delivery, roadway,utilities,planning, etc.) + Our teamis responsible formultiple levels of environmental due diligence and permitting, and this role will be a leader ontheseprojects with opportunities tointerfacedirectlywith clients and other stakeholders + You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry-leading professionals,agencies,variousjurisdictions, and contractors. **Responsibilities** + Adhere to the contract budget set by the client anddemonstratestrong project management knowledge + Produce and/or lead the production oftechnical reports,permitsubmittals, and client meeting preparation. + Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects + Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules + Lead field teams in aquatic resource delineations, listed species habitat assessments, Phase I ESAs, and otherreconnaissance asnecessitatedby the project + Instill a sense of client service and urgency for projects in less experienced staff. + Ability tomanage multiple projects at a given time and prioritize tasks and deadlines. \#LI-TD **Qualifications** + 3+ years of relevant experience, includingfederalwetlands documentationandpermitting + Bachelor’s orMaster’sDegree in Environmental Science,Geography,Ecology, Botany, Biology, orarelated field + Threatened and endangered speciessurvey and/orconsultation experience (preferred) + Certified Wildlife Biologist (preferredbut notrequired) + Ecological field work experienceincludingleadingaquatic resource delineations, listed species habitat assessments, and/or Phase I ESAs + Demonstratedtechnical writing skills andexperiencewritingdetailed technical reports + Working knowledge or strong interest in ArcGIS + Enjoy working in both an office environment and in the field, withfield workbeing done in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.) + Interest in working with planners and designers to avoid and minimize ecological impactsin accordance withlocal, state, and federal regulations + Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed(locallyand overnight) + Strong senseof urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines + Desire to provide exceptional client service + Strong interpersonal skills + Ability to enjoy work independently and on a team **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
