AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our EcoSciences Team to deliver a variety pf projects around the State and beyond. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Tampa, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

Support senior scientists and project managers by assisting with environmental assessments, permitting, wildlife surveys, and compliance monitoring. 

Conduct fieldwork and data collection, including habitat evaluations, wetland delineations, wildlife surveys & relocations. 

Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, ensuring accuracy of environmental documentation. 

Collaborate across disciplines to ensure the environment is adequately considered in engineering and development projects. 

The position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on experience in environmental services while contributing to impactful projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience. Preference for experience in the industry and/or having conducted field research 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in physical or natural sciences or related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology). 

SPECIAL SKILLS:  

Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Preference for GIS mapping experience. 

Desire to conduct field work, including wetland delineations and wildlife surveys
