Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + employee's work is performed in accordance with Departmental policies, regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. + The employee must also understand and apply Louisiana's Risk Evaluation and Corrective Action Program (RECAP). + The incumbent serves as team leader on remediation projects within the Remediation Division + Performs comprehensive reviews of site investigation work plans and reports, corrective action work plans and reports, monitoring work plans and reports, to name a few, to ensure that all documents are addressed appropriately and in accordance with RECAP (Risk Evaluation Corrective Action Program) and other applicable regulations. + Perform site inspections to oversee remedial activities conducted on sites, as well as perform semi-annual and annual inspections to assess compliance and progress. + Represent the Department at meetings with the regulated community, effectively communicating technical and regulatory information.
