Environmental Resource Technician Coraopolis, PA Multiple Offices Available - Aliquippa, Harmar, or Greensburg We are seeking an Environmental Resource Technician to support our diverse projects that enhance public infrastructure and promote community development. Key Responsibilities: + Divide work efforts between office and field environments (approximately 50/50). + Collaborate with project teams to facilitate projects in site/land development, municipal, and environmental sectors. + Assist with the preparation and submission of NPDES and EPA permits for residential developments, with an emphasis on Pennsylvania regulations (Ohio experience is a plus). + Navigate and comprehend PADEP Chapter 102 and 105 regulations and Army Corps of Engineers 404 permitting processes. + Conduct wetland field determinations and categorization using the USFW Classification of Wetlands and Deep-Water Habitats and the USACE Wetland Delineation Manual. + Identify and classify streams, focusing on stream morphology. + Contribute to stream restoration design initiatives and manage erosion and sedimentation processes. + Support surface mining permit applications and ensure environmental compliance through inspections. + Perform biological assessments and surveys, including consultations and coordination on rare, threatened, and endangered species. + Identify invasive species, macroinvertebrates, and native plant species while conducting macroinvertebrate enumeration.
