Summary You will serve as an ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the G-F Division, Environmental Affairs Branch ofMARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Responsibilities You will serve as the public awareness coordinator and recycling compliance coordinator of the Qualified Recycling Program. You will ensure the recycle guidelines and policies are followed by all military personnel and civilians abord the installation. You will provide quality control to ensure recyclable materials meet sales contract agreements/requirements. You will write reports as to any discrepancies, either internal or external to the Qualified Recycling Program. You will write reports identifying any trends, issues, or constraints to the Qualified Recycling Program. You will supply information to employees and supervisors as required pertaining to the program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing research directly related to laws and regulations; convey written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner for an intended audience; and assist in planning and/or administering recycle program to ensure compliance with regulations. GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing research directly related to laws and regulations; convey written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner for an intended audience. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.
