**Support Global Compliance Program:** Assist in the development and documentation of a comprehensive global product environmental compliance program aligned with Corning’s processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements..
+ **Monitor Environmental Regulations:** Continuously monitor environmental regulations and standards to ensure compliance across all product lines and geographical regions.
+ **Screen Regulations for Applicability:** Analyze and screen regulations for applicability to the company's products and operations. Ability to read legal language is a nice-to-have skill.
+ **Reporting:** Prepare and submit reports as required by environmental regulations, collaborate with consultants on registrations and reporting. Address inquiries from customers related to sustainability
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, procurement, supply chain, legal, and regulatory affairs to assure environmental product compliance of Corning products sold to external customers.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, consultants, to foster partnerships, share best practices, provide information on environmental product compliance regulations and advocate for sustainable solutions.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, quality, product stewardship, or related fields, preferably in a corporate setting.
+ Strong understanding of global environmental regulations and standards, particularly related to inputs/hazardous substances, product end-of-life management, packaging.
+ Minimum basic ability to read and interpret legal language.
+ Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop practical solutions.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
+ Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, chemistry or related field.
+ Knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
