Environmental Planner
Description Seeking a highly motivated CEQA/NEPA Planner to prepare State/Federal environmental documents and ensure compliance throughout Southern California. Assignments include writing portions of IS/MNDs, EIRs, EAs, EISs, and other environmental commitments. This role offers strong career growth potential. Key Responsibilities: • Apply knowledge and experience with CEQA and NEPA. • Write portions of CEQA documents (IS/MND, EIR, EA, EIS). • Research compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Coordinate with public agencies to address CEQA/NEPA-related comments. • Conduct land use planning and demographic analysis. • Develop technical reports, special studies, mapping, and interpret model data. • Support Project Managers on multiple projects with tight schedules. • Document meetings, develop scopes, and monitor budgets and schedules. • Work independently with minimal supervision. • Maintain a proactive approach to quality and client satisfaction. • Participate in office and client meetings. • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and writing skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
