Job Summary
Summary<br>Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations by implementing and maintaining programs, policies, and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment, prevent accidents and injuries, and minimize the organization's impact on the environment.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. <br>-Develop, implement, and update environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. <br>
-Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards related to environmental, health, and safety. <br>
-Develop and deliver training programs on environmental, health, and safety topics. <br>
-Lead and conduct investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-miss events. <br>
-Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. <br>
-Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify safety hazards, equipment deficiencies, and unsafe work practices. <br>
-Maintain accurate records of environmental, health, and safety activities, including inspections, incidents, training, and permits. <br>
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in the environmental health & safety or related field required.Master of Science in health, safety, risk or public health related field preferred.
