Job Description
This position is based in Murfreesboro, TN. As an Environmental Field Technician, you will play a vital role in monitoring and evaluating environmental systems to ensure their efficiency and accuracy.
ResponsibilitiesInstall flow monitors within sewer lines.Install rainfall monitoring equipment.Calibrate flow monitors.Collect and review sewer flow and rainfall data for accuracy.Operate and maintain flow monitors and rainfall gauges.Inspect manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipment.Conduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and site inspections.Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records in accordance with quality work instructions.Ensure vehicle and equipment safety, mechanical soundness, and productive operation.Adhere to all safety work procedures and policies.Travel and work overtime hours as required.Complete all required internal and external training requirements and certifications.Perform other duties as required.Essential SkillsKnowledge of environmental science and environmental engineering.Experience with sewer testing, sampling, and technical reporting.Proficiency in civil, environmental, and water engineering.Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based platforms and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate degree in Engineering.Manual dexterity and willingness to work outdoors.Ability to function in a team environment and achieve daily productivity targets.Willingness to travel and foster a healthy safety culture.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
