Role Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Engineer and play a crucial role in shaping sustainable solutions for the oil and gas industry. This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work on significant environmental engineering projects, including the development of an FPSO in Indonesian waters, while based in the vibrant city of Paris, France.
Key responsibilities: Perform environmental engineering documentation required as part of the FEED Contract, including Environmental Design Philosophy, Environmental Design Basis, ENVID, and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan. Ensure follow-up of Sub-Contractor responsible for producing Air Emission Study and Modelling Report and Water and Wastewater Management Study Report. Support Loss Prevention & Environment Discipline Lead in coordinating with other disciplines, the Project Team, and any nominated Third Party. Analyze process information necessary for calculations, simulations, and studies related to environmental assessments for the FPSO. Maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations for environmental management in oil and gas facilities.
Skills & Qualifications: Waste Water Treatment & Disposal: Expertise in managing wastewater processes. Environmental Sciences: Strong foundation in environmental science principles. Codes & Standards: Knowledge of relevant environmental codes and standards. Environmental Monitoring: Experience in monitoring environmental impacts and compliance. Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze complex process information for environmental studies. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Indonesian environmental laws and regulations.
Education & Experience: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role during FEED and EPC phases on the Engineering Contractor side. Mobility: Willingness to travel for missions in Indonesia (Jakarta) as required.
