Environmental Engineer
Environmental Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for sustainable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities + Perform engineering work related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure. + Lead and support engineering planning and design projects. + Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. + Conduct system modeling, permitting, and alternative analysis. + Develop technical memoranda and electronic deliverables. + Analyze data and perform quality data entry. + Provide engineering services during construction phases. + Participate in field activities such as pilot testing and site evaluations. Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. + 4–6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering. + Active Professional Engineer (PE) license. + Strong foundation in civil and environmental engineering principles. + Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with clients and project teams. + Self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Preferred Skills + Experience in water treatment systems. + Familiarity with civil infrastructure design and permitting processes. Workplace Environment This is a full-time, on-site role located in downtown Los Angeles. You’ll be part of a collaborative and innovative team working on essential infrastructure projects that impact communities and the environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.42/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
