Job Title: Environmental Assistant Project ManagerJob Description Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Assistant Project Manager, where you will manage the technical aspects of perimeter air monitoring projects under the supervision of highly experienced professionals. You will be responsible for delivering, setting up on-site, and training clients on air monitoring systems and equipment. Your role will also include reviewing and interpreting data collected by our systems, writing perimeter air monitoring plans and proposals, and engaging in project management activities. Responsibilities + Manage the technical aspects of perimeter air monitoring projects. + Deliver and set up air monitoring systems and equipment on-site. + Train clients on the use of air monitoring systems. + Review and interpret data collected by air monitoring systems. + Communicate proactively and effectively with clients and team members. + Write perimeter air monitoring plans and proposals. + Engage in project management, multitasking, and client interaction. + Participate in data management, proposal writing, and conferences. + Familiarize with equipment, train personnel, troubleshoot issues, and perform simple repairs. + Lift, load, and deliver equipment to various sites. Essential Skills + Experience in environmental monitoring, remediation, and consulting. + At least 5 years in the remediation/consulting industry. + 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification. + Proficiency in air monitoring and soil sampling. + College degree in earth, environmental, atmospheric, or general sciences. + Strong oral communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Site remediation experience. + Experience in environmental consulting, remediation, and/or air monitoring sectors. + Ability to independently perform and manage multiple tasks. Work Environment This position is based in the office five days a week and involves travel across the country, including locations such as Chicago, New England, and Arkansas. Travel is project-dependent, with expectations of two mobilizations a month or two a week.
