Environmental and Air Permitting Engineering Manager
Job Description A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an Environmental & Air Permitting Engineering Manager to join their team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in achieving their environmental compliance needs for the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. You will oversee the completion of air, water and waste permit applications, along with driving project accuracy, completion, and satisfaction. This position will be 70% industry and 30% consulting, with some travel to customer sites. The established salary for this position is $140-160k, based on experience. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering  • 10+ years of consulting experience in environmental compliance, with a focus on completing air permit applications  • 2+ years of demonstrated supervisory experience with one or more employees  • Proficiency in formulating air permit applications that align with diverse regulatory requisites and industries  • Ability to perform air dispersion modeling, air emission calculations, and leverage methods like mass-balance, engineering judgement, and AP-42 emission factors  • Familiarity with Clean Air Act, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, New Source Performance Standards, Title V Permitting, and New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration
