Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Advisor in the thriving Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sector! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable practices and compliance in a pivotal industry, all while working onsite in the beautiful Afungi, Mozambique.

Role Overview

Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards within the LNG operations. Audit Coordination: Conduct and oversee environmental audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas. Risk Assessment: Evaluate environmental risks associated with LNG projects and recommend mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote environmental initiatives. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on environmental performance and compliance for management review. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance environmental awareness among staff.

Skills & Qualifications

LNG Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Liquefied Natural Gas operations and environmental impacts. Audit Skills: Proficient in conducting environmental audits and assessments. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international environmental regulations related to LNG. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications: Relevant environmental certifications are a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental advisory roles, preferably within the LNG sector.
