Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $22.00 per hour + $0.75 Shift Differential
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport packaging materials, components, and finished goods to and from production lines and designated warehouse storage areas.Load, unload, and distribute products throughout the plant according to schedules and operational requirements.Perform routine equipment and safety checks prior to operating material handling equipment.Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and provide counts for materials handled.Understand warehouse configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient material flow.Accurately read and interpret production schedules and work orders.Safely and effectively perform all assigned duties to protect product quality and employee safety.Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with company policies, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge and Critical Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.Willingness to obtain forklift certification and operate warehouse equipment.Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Dependable and reliable, with maturity to safely operate equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing with strong attention to accuracy.Ability to learn and utilize SAP or other inventory management systems.Mechanical aptitude and prior warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.Flexibility to work mandatory overtime, including weekends, as needed.Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.Capable of standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, carrying, twisting, and stooping for extended periods.Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills.Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements:
Adhere to all safety and environmental policies, including lockout/tagout, safe lifting, and PPE usage.Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company standards.Immediately report any food safety, quality, sanitation, or equipment concerns to management.Food Safety:
Ensure compliance with company, customer, and government food safety standards.Initiate actions to prevent nonconformities in food safety or quality systems.Identify, document, and communicate food safety or quality concerns.Control further processing of nonconforming products until deficiencies are corrected.EEO Statement:
