**Job Title: Entry level Utility Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated Inspection Technicians to join our team. This entry-level position requires individuals who are reliable, professional, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The role involves conducting inspections of utility-owned gas meters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting audits and surveys.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform periodic facility inspections and surveys on utility-owned gas meters.
+ Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
+ Ensure readings and records comply with company and regulatory standards.
+ Support the completion of regulatory audits and inspections.
+ Conduct integrity surveys, including direct assessments and close interval surveys.
+ Perform audit reviews with operations and provide support during audits.
**Essential Skills**
+ Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Have a valid state driver's license and a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
+ Demonstrate basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal, and initiative skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
+ Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of mathematics, algebra, and mechanical aptitude.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
+ Mechanical skillset is a plus, including experience in cable technology, HVAC, piping, or auto mechanics.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
